Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Gasless Wallet (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Gasless Wallet is a non-custodial browser extension wallet that enables users to pay blockchain gas fees using stablecoins (USDT/USDC) instead of native network tokens (ETH, etc.).

2. Service Description

2.1 Non-Custodial Nature

Gasless Wallet is a non-custodial wallet. This means:

• You maintain full control of your private keys
• We never have access to your private keys or seed phrase
• We cannot access, freeze, or control your funds
• You are solely responsible for the security of your private keys
• Loss of your private keys means permanent loss of access to your funds

2.2 GasAccount Smart Contract

To enable gasless transactions, you may deposit stablecoins (USDT/USDC) into a GasAccount smart contract. This contract:

• Is non-custodial and controlled only by you via signed messages (EIP-712)
• Stores stablecoins used for gas fee conversion
• Allows withdrawal at any time with your signature
• Cannot be accessed, frozen, or controlled by Gasless Wallet operators
• Is deployed on public blockchains and subject to smart contract risks

2.3 Relayer Service

Our relayer service facilitates gasless transactions by:

• Providing native ETH from our reserves to cover gas fees
• Converting your stablecoins to ETH at market rates
• Charging a small service fee on gas conversions
• Processing transactions only after you sign authorization

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Security

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your private keys and seed phrase secure
• Using strong passwords and secure devices
• Not sharing your credentials with anyone
• Reviewing all transaction details before signing
• Understanding the risks of blockchain transactions

3.2 Compliance

You agree to:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not use the Service for illegal activities
• Not use the Service if prohibited in your jurisdiction
• Be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use cryptocurrency services

3.3 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the Service
• Use automated systems to abuse or overwhelm the Service
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Use the Service for money laundering or terrorist financing

4. Fees and Payments

4.1 Service Fees

• First transaction: FREE as promotional offer
• Subsequent transactions: Small service fee on gas conversion
• Network gas fees: Actual blockchain gas costs (paid in your stablecoins)

4.2 Fee Changes

We reserve the right to modify fees with 30 days notice. Continued use after fee changes constitutes acceptance.

5. Risks and Disclaimers

5.1 Technology Risks

• Beta Software: The Service is in beta and may contain bugs or errors
• Smart Contract Risk: GasAccount contracts may have vulnerabilities
• Blockchain Risk: Blockchain networks may fail, fork, or reverse transactions
• Loss of Funds: Errors may result in permanent loss of cryptocurrency

5.2 Market Risks

• Volatility: Cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile
• Liquidity: We may temporarily lack liquidity to process transactions
• Exchange Rates: Conversion rates fluctuate and may be unfavorable

5.3 Operational Risks

• Downtime: The Service may be unavailable temporarily
• Relayer Failure: Relayer systems may fail or go offline
• Integration Issues: Third-party dApps may not work as expected

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF FUNDS, DATA, OR PROFITS
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR SMART CONTRACT FAILURES OR BLOCKCHAIN ISSUES
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES OR dAPPS
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID IN THE PAST 3 MONTHS

7. Intellectual Property

Gasless Wallet is a fork of Rabby Wallet, an open-source project. We acknowledge and respect the original authors' intellectual property rights.

• Original Rabby Wallet code is subject to its original license
• Our modifications and additions are proprietary unless otherwise stated
• The Gasless brand, logo, and marketing materials are our property
• You may not use our branding without permission

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use data.

Key points:

• We do not collect or store private keys
• We do not track individual transactions
• We may collect email addresses and wallet addresses you voluntarily provide
• We use cookies for analytics (with your consent)

9. Termination

9.1 By You

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the wallet extension. You should withdraw any funds from your GasAccount before doing so.

9.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in illegal or fraudulent activity
• We are required to do so by law
• We discontinue the Service (with 60 days notice)

Even if terminated, you can always withdraw your funds from GasAccount as it is non-custodial.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via:

• Email (if you provided one)
• In-app notification
• Website announcement

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with international commercial law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through arbitration.
